Trump cancels campaign rally in North Carolina due to stormy weather

WILMINGTON, NC – Former President Donald Trump canceled a North Carolina rally at the last minute on Saturday evening, citing stormy weather as the reason.

Trump, who had not yet arrived at the event, announced by phone that the outdoor rally had been canceled as thunder and rain began to darken.

“It looks like there’s been lightning and lightning. It’s a pretty big storm, so if you don’t mind, I think we’ll just have to check the rain,” Trump said over his speaker system.
