Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley said Friday on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” that she doesn’t know if Donald Trump will follow the Constitution if he’s re-elected president.

“I don’t know. I mean, you always want to think there’s going to be one, but I don’t know,” Haley said.

Referring to what Trump said during the election campaign about using a second term, “revenge“or”revenge,” Haley said, “What does that mean? I don’t know what that means. And only he can answer that.”

Haley’s comments come just days before Super Tuesday — when she won’t win any of the 15 states that vote in the GOP presidential primary that day — as Trump prepares to secure the Republican presidential nomination in the coming weeks.

Haley criticized Trump’s actions regarding the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021. In a CNN debate in January, Haley blasted Trump for calling January 6 a “beautiful day,” saying, “I think January 6 was a terrible day, and we should never want that to happen again.”

He hit out at the former president for continuing to talk about the outcome of the 2020 election, which he continues to claim Trump won.

“That election? Trump lost it. Biden won that election. And this idea [Trump’s] gone and done it forever, so he’s going to keep saying these things to scare the American people, it’s wrong,” Haley said in that debate.

Republicans and Democrats who have criticized Trump and been angered by him told NBC News. their fears are increasing about what “revenge” might ensue if he were re-elected.

“I don’t think there should ever be a president above the law. I don’t think there should be a president with absolute immunity to do whatever they want to do,” Haley added.

Only this week the Supreme Court announced the judgments will decide at the end of this year Can the president claim immunity from Trump’s election meddling charges?

Federal charges against the former president, including conspiracy to defraud the United States and conspiracy to obstruct official proceedings, would be dismissed if the court rules that the former president is immune from criminal prosecution for actions taken by officials while he was president.
