South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said Sunday that former President Donald Trump needs to pick a candidate who will “help him win,” adding that she has not been officially vetted for the position.

“I have not received any documents. No, I haven’t,” Noem said in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” adding, “I’ve had conversations with the president, and I know he’s the only one who makes decisions about who’s going to be his deputy. president.”
