A federal appeals court denied Tuesday Hunter Biden’s request for adjourn his trial on gun charges scheduled to begin in Delaware next month.
The denial came a day later from an attorney son of the president filed a motion for delay. Attorney Abbe Lowell argued that a district court held that there was “no urgency for a speedy trial” as it continued the trial to be held on June 3 in Wilmington.
Biden’s request was rejected by a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit: Patty Shwartz, who was nominated to the court by President Barack Obama; Cindy K. Chung, running mate of President Joe Biden; and President George W. Bush’s nominee, D. Brooks Smith.
The same three-judge panel existed before He rejected Biden’s offer Earlier this month, it overturned a trial judge’s denial of several motions to dismiss the lawsuit.
Lowell did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday evening. Special prosecutor David Weiss’ office declined to comment.

Biden was indicted in September on three counts of possession of a weapon while on drugs. He has he pleaded not guilty.
