Container ship that struck Baltimore bridge will be removed from the site ‘within days,’ Maryland governor says

Maryland Governor Wes Moore said Sunday that the giant container ship Dali Francis Scott Key Bridge In March, Baltimore will be lifted “within days.”

“I remember the first morning the bridge collapsed, people were saying it could take six to nine months to repair the canal,” Moore, a Democrat, said in an interview with NBC News on Sunday. “Meet the press.”

“I’m proud that we’re on our way and they’re going to reopen this federal canal and we’re going to get that big ship — the Dali — out of the federal canal in a couple of days,” Moore said.
