Former ‘Real Housewives’ star Siggy Flicker’s stepson arrested on Jan. 6 charges

WASHINGTON – The stepson of a former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” actor was arrested Wednesday in connection with an attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Tyler Campanella, stepson Former “Real Housewives” cast member Sigalite “Siggy” Flicker was arrested in New York, according to court records. He turns away five felony charges.

Flickr posted photos from inside the Capitol on January 6, 2021 with the caption, “I love the patriots. Stay safe Tyler. We love you.” He added some emojis and the hashtag “Stop Stealing,” according to an image of the post in the FBI statement.

Phone records subpoenaed by the government show that Campanella’s phone, which is linked to Flickr’s account, was inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, according to the FBI. The account was linked to Bayside Chrysler, according to the FBI, where Campanella was listed as a sales manager.

A message left for Campanella at the Chrysler dealership was not immediately returned. Campanella made a preliminary appearance in federal court in New York. Marina Medvin, a conservative attorney representing the other Jan. 6 defendants and currently representing Campanella, declined to comment.

In the video cited by the FBI, Campanella is seen in various parts of the Capitol. But additional video reviewed by NBC News — previously released in connection with other Jan. 6 incidents — shows a man federal authorities identified as Campanella entering then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s room and even entering the room where Pelosi was sitting. laptop was stolen.

In another video, a man identified as Campanella is seen wearing a flag with the QAnon symbol.

Flicker is a Trump supporter and has posted pictures of himself with him and it appears encountered Trump at an event at his Florida mansion Mar-a-Lago last month. Flicker did not immediately respond to a request for comment. There is no evidence that Flicker himself was in the Capitol, and he said in a social media video was in Florida after the attack.

Flicker is friends with Alina Habba, an attorney who defends Trump and frequently supports him on cable news. Habba did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

More than 1,387 people were charged in connection with the attack on the Capitol, and more than 984 defendants were convicted. More than 520 of the more than 859 defendants were sentenced to several days behind bars. 22 years in federal prison.

The vast majority of defendants in custody on January 6 either pleaded guilty or were found guilty at trial; only 15 people are in prison pending trial.
