No Labels, a bipartisan group seeking to put a third-party presidential ticket on the ballot in all 50 states in 2024, announced Thursday that it was ending its efforts.

“No Labels has always said we will offer our ballot to the ticket if we can identify candidates with a credible path to winning the White House,” No Labels CEO and co-founder Nancy Jacobson said in a statement. “Such candidates have not appeared, so the responsible action is to withdraw from our position.”

Jacobson said the group “will remain active throughout the next year during the most divisive presidential election of our lifetime. We will encourage dialogue around key policy issues and call out both parties who speak and act in bad faith.”

The Wall Street Journal Be the first to report No Labels’ move.

It was a group rejected by at least a dozen candidates during recruitment effortsFormer New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu from Republicans to Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick from Democrats, NBC News reported.
