Former President Donald Trump won the Idaho Republican caucus on Saturday, capturing all 32 of the state’s delegates, NBC News projects.
Trump defeated former UN ambassador Nikki Haley as he continued his undefeated streak in the race for the 2024 Republican nomination. On Saturday morning, NBC News predicted that Trump would win Missouri caucuses and Michigan convention caucuses.
The wins come before Super Tuesday, March 5, when the most delegates are in question.
In 2016, Trump was far behind Texas Senator Ted Cruz in the Idaho primary.
Idaho Republicans held a presidential primary this year after state lawmakers opted out of the March 12 presidential primary. State lawmakers originally intended to move the presidential primary to May 21 to coincide with the planned primaries for state and local offices, but ultimately backed out.
Idaho Democrats will hold the presidential election on May 23.
