Republican voters in South Carolina will vote today in the presidential election, choosing between former President Donald Trump and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. The state has 50 representatives. Voting closes at 7 ET. As a former governor of the state, Haley hoped to reverse her two-term electoral success there to sway her to Trump. But the polls found a less competitive race, with Trump holding a significant lead heading into Election Day. Five more candidates will be on the ballot, including two Republicans who have already withdrawn from the race.
