Former president Donald Trump During the debate, it appeared that Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., had mistakenly referred to GOP challenger Nikki Haley instead. January 6 riots Friday night at a campaign rally in New Hampshire.

The melee occurred during a speech to a crowd of supporters in Concord, NH, where Trump spoke for more than 90 minutes and repeatedly bashed Haley, who served as ambassador to the United Nations and was never a member of Congress.

“Nikki Haley, you know them, they destroyed all the information, all the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed it all. All of these are responsible for security, as is Nikki Haley for many things. We offered him 10,000 men, soldiers, National Guard, whatever they wanted. They rejected it. They don’t want to talk about it. These are very dishonest people,” Trump said.

NBC News has reached out to Trump’s campaign for comment.

There is Trump previously accused Pelosi gave up 10,000 troops on January 6. exposed. The final report of the committee, whose activity was suspended on January 6, states: “Some have suggested that President Trump ordered 10,000 troops to be ready by January 6. The Select Committee found no evidence of this. In fact, President Trump’s acting secretary of defense, Christopher Miller, directly denied this during his sworn testimony.”

Trump’s lie comes as he often describes it President Joe Biden, 81, confused and mentally unfit for office. The 77-year-old former president has previously baffled politicians during his speeches. In September, Trump confused Biden with former President Barack Obama and said, “With Obama, we won an election that everyone said he couldn’t win.”

During the same September speech, Trump said that if we trust Biden, we will be in World War II very soon.

Trump defended changing the names of Obama and Biden, saying he was “ironically” changing them “as an indication that others can have too much influence in running our country.”

In October, Trump called Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán the leader of Turkey and greeted a crowd he said was from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, while he was in Sioux City, Iowa.

Although Biden has had his fair share gaffes and flubshe hasn’t made his predecessor’s mental fitness a major campaign issue like Trump.

For example, in 2022, Biden asked if Rep. Jackie Walorski was in the audience at a White House event. – About two months after the Indiana Republican died in a car accident. The president issued a statement of condolences after Walorski’s death.

Voters a Sept. NBC News survey He expressed concern about the ages of Trump and Biden. About 74% of respondents expressed great or moderate concern that “at 80, Joe Biden does not have the mental and physical health to run for a second term.” About 47% of respondents expressed similar concerns about Trump.
