WASHINGTON – Democrats are planning a show of force in Milwaukee during the Republican National Convention, seeking to focus on former President Donald Trump, an attack on the party’s potential governing agenda candidate.

The Democratic National Committee and the Biden campaign said they planned a six-figure paid visibility effort in Milwaukee during the RNC, with daily news conferences featuring Democratic surrogates and ads around town blasting Trump and the administration plan being pushed by conservative allies.
The Biden campaign seized more intensively last week on Project 2025, a policy document produced by the Heritage Foundation, and advisers insisted it would translate into support for Democrats up and down the ballot as voters learn more.
“If Trump previously thought Milwaukee was ‘terrible,’ he won’t be happy when he’s greeted by a Democratic convention that will expose the extreme agenda of the 2025 bill and hold him accountable for shilling for the rich.” ,” DNC communications director Rosemary Boeglin said in a statement. “Trump wants to sell out the American people to return to his reckless, chaotic extremism, but Americans know a fake and a liar when they see one.”
