The Supreme Court, which ruled on January 6 that prosecutors overreached in the defendant’s case, narrowed the scope of who could be charged with obstruction. It was one of several major cases decided by the court, including one that upheld laws prohibiting homeless people from sleeping outdoors. NBC News’ Laura Jarrett reports.
