Former Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman has died, his family said in a statement Wednesday. He was 82 years old.
Lieberman died Wednesday afternoon in New York after complications from a fall, his family said.
“Senator Lieberman’s love for God, family and America continued throughout his life of service to the public interest,” his family said.
