The Justice Department has announced a wide-ranging investigation into law enforcement’s response to the 2022 Uvalde school shooting. The report found “consistent failures of leadership, decision-making, tactics, policy and training”. The grandmother of one of the victims told NBC News’ Morgan Chesky that she was incredibly angry at the officers who took 77 minutes to enter the classrooms where the shooting took place.
