WASHINGTON — Two Republican-led House committees announced Thursday Hunter Biden will testify behind closed doors on February 28 as part of the impeachment effort against his father.
“Hunter Biden will appear before our committees for a deposition on February 28, 2024. His testimony will follow several interviews with Biden’s family members and associates,” Reps. James Comer and Jim Jordan said in a statement. “Looking forward to Hunter Biden’s testimony.”
Comer, R-Ky., is chairman of the Oversight and Accountability Committee, and Jordan, R-Ohio, is chairman of the Judiciary Committee.
An attorney for Hunter Biden did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The White House reached out to NBC News’ attorney for Hunter Biden for comment.
