Former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.), a Baptist minister, demonstrated the political power of the evangelical base when he ran the Iowa caucuses in 2008. But a few days ago, he told Meet the Press, he wasn’t sure. the winner “If we do that, you’re going to have a political story that never gets out of Iowa,” Huckabee added.
