The mother of President Trump’s pick for defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, is speaking out after the New York Times published a newly released email accusing him of mistreating women. He has since defended his son and denied what he said in that email. It comes as he prepares for a potentially contentious confirmation battle in the Senate. NBC News’ Julie Tsirk has the latest.
