The Harris campaign also plans to hold virtual and in-person “Project 2025 messaging exercises” in battlegrounds. To date, the campaign has held more than 60 such trainings to help volunteers talk to their friends and neighbors about Project 2025. The weekend event will also feature canvas presentations, phone banks and food.
The move by the Harris campaign comes days before the first presidential debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump, scheduled for Tuesday in Philadelphia. Harris plans to bring the 2025 draft to the debate stage because he argues he is more qualified and better suited to be president than Trump, a campaign official said.
