Linda Sun, 40, a US citizen, is accused of acting as a foreign agent for China while working for the governor of New York. For years, Sun has pleaded not guilty to accepting millions in payments and gifts from Chinese officials in exchange for influencing the highest levels of New York state government. Her husband, Chris Hu, pleaded not guilty to money laundering. NBC’s Stephanie Gosk reports for TODAY.
