A protester interrupted the former president Donald TrumpAt the rally on Friday Johnstown, Pennsylvania ; He will face misdemeanor charges, local police confirmed to NBC News on Saturday.
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, will face charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and disturbing an assembly or procession, according to Johnstown police Sgt. Evan Dabbs.
Charges have not yet been filed, but Dabbs said they are expected to be filed early next week.
It’s unclear what the protester’s thoughts were about Trump.
The man jumped over the barricade onto the press rig and shouted at the former president as Trump spoke. It was unclear what the protester said.

The protester was handcuffed and removed from the rally by security officers. He was processed and released Friday, Dabbs said. Dabbs told NBC News that he was not involved in the arrest and did not know the protester’s motive.
NBC News has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment on the pending charges.
