Two Georgian election workers Slandered by Rudy Giuliani He wants to keep his multimillion-dollar homes in New York and Florida and some of his prized personal possessions, including his Yankees World Series rings.

Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Wandrea “Shaye” Moss, were awarded $146 million in damages after a judge ruled last year. Giuliani is responsible For repeatedly defaming them with false accusations of electoral fraud during the 2020 presidential election. On Friday, they filed a lawsuit in federal court in New York to buy his estate.

They argue that the move is necessary because “Mr. Giuliani has demonstrated time and time again that he will never voluntarily comply with a court order, nor will he voluntarily grant a judgment to the Plaintiffs.”

Giuliani’s spokesman, Ted Goodman, said the appeal of the “objectively unjustified” verdict “has not even been heard, but the opposing attorney continues to take steps designed to harass and intimidate the former New York mayor.”

Freeman and Moss testified During the defamation trial that Giuliani’s lies that he supported former President Donald Trump’s claims of a fraudulent stolen election subjected them to a barrage of racist and violent threats that forced them out of their jobs and homes.

Their filing on Friday seeks “an order requiring Mr. Giuliani to turn over personal property in his possession in satisfaction of the judgment and to appoint Plaintiffs as receivers authorized to take possession and sell both real and personal property of Mr. Giuliani. Giuliani is not returning.” It includes “cash accounts, jewelry and valuables, a legal claim for unpaid attorney fees and Mr. Giuliani’s interest in a luxury condominium on Madison Avenue.”

Giuliani’s Manhattan apartment is valued at about $5.7 million, and his Palm Beach condo, which former campaign workers are also trying to acquire, is valued at $3.5 million.

They are seeking an additional $2 million in fees Giuliani said he owes to Donald Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee for trying to overturn the 2020 results — efforts that led to Giuliani’s firing in New York and Moss and Freeman’s lawsuit.

Mother and daughter are also looking for Giuliani’s 1980 Mercedes-Benz SL500, an autographed Reggie Jackson photo, an autographed Joe DiMaggio shirt and three Yankees World Series rings given to him while he was mayor of New York City. They also want a diamond ring he owned and a collection of about two dozen luxury watches.

Giuliani filed for bankruptcy after being hit with a court order in December and estimated that all of her jewelry was worth $30,000 in the process. Lawyers for Freeman and Moss contested the claim, saying it was fair one World series rings worth about that amount.

Bankruptcy Judge of New York He dismissed Giuliani’s case earlier this month after citing that Giuliani failed to turn over virtually any necessary information about his businesses while providing incomplete or inaccurate information about his personal expenses.

In a separate but related filing on Friday, the couple accused Giuliani of continued gamesmanship by claiming his permanent residence was in Florida earlier this month “to qualify the Condo for homestead protection under Florida law.”

This evasive maneuver is no more credible than the last few: Mr. Giuliani’s own public Internet postings show that he has not actually lived in the Palm Beach Condo after claiming to have established a permanent, de facto residence — and he certainly has not maintained it. “household,” the filing said, noting there was no evidence he had been in the condo since a brief stay in May. In a bankruptcy filing in February, he said his primary residence was in New York.

Freeman and Moss are seeking a ruling that their lien on the property is enforceable “and that any claim by Mr. Giuliani regarding the status of the home is without merit.”

Goodman said his client was a victim and that “we now live in an era where the justice system has been weaponized against Mayor Giuliani and many others for serious partisan political purposes.”
