Harris heads to Milwaukee for first rally since launching her presidential campaign

Vice President Kamala Harris plans to travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday for his first rally of the presidential campaign.

Harris’ visit to Milwaukee is his first stop on the battlefield as part of his presidential campaign. It will be his ninth visit to Wisconsin as vice president and his fifth visit to the state this year, according to a news release from his campaign.

He is expected to argue to Wisconsin voters that they are faced with a choice between the former president Donald Trumpa convicted felon who is “taking this country backwards” and Harris’ “brighter vision of a future where our freedoms are protected and every American has a fair shot,” the campaign said.

The Harris campaign said it has 48 coordinated offices in 43 counties across the state, with about 160 full-time employees on the ground organizing to build support for Harris and state Democrats ahead of the November election.
