Past Hillary Clinton helper Huma Abedin and Alex Sorosson of billionaire George Soros is engaged.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram on Wednesday, with Soros sharing the engagement with a heart and ring emoji, writing, “It happened…we couldn’t be happier, more grateful, or more in love.”
Abedin, 47, and Soros, 38, are famous in both the political and business worlds.
The couple met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in the fall of 2023, “where they quickly discovered their mutual interests in politics and public service.” Vogue.
