A sailor assigned to the medical team at a base in Virginia tried unsuccessfully to access the president Joe BidenMedical records multiple times earlier this year, a Navy spokesman said Tuesday.
The unnamed sailor defense officialsHe was working with the Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command at Fort Belvoir when the failed attempt occurred in February.
Out of “curiosity,” the serviceman looked up “Joseph Biden” in the Military Health System’s electronic health record. Tim Hawkins said in a statement.
Hawkins said a health record that did not belong to the president was obtained, adding, “At no time has the President’s personal information been stolen.”

A defense official told NBC News that the sailor made three attempts to access Biden’s information on Feb. 23 — “about two weeks after” the president’s death, special counsel Robert Hur said.poor memory” as one of the reasons he decided not to press charges while investigating classified documents.
A co-worker reported the records breach, which was investigated by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. NCIS alerted the U.S. Secret Service, which was involved in the interview of the unidentified sailor, a defense official said.
The NCIS investigation concluded on April 24 and the sailor was “administered,” a defense official said.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was notified of the breach in February and the Navy informed the White House about the incident, Defense Department spokesman Maj. Gen. Patrick Ryder said.
The disclosure of the attempted access to the records comes amid renewed questions about Biden’s health after a dismal debate performance against former President Donald Trump last month. Biden’s personal physician said in a letter released Monday night — addressing A visit to the White House by an expert on Parkinson’s disease — the president last time showed no signs of neurological disorders, including Parkinson’s disease annual physical on February 28.
