On Friday, a Nevada judge a case against six fake voters who announced the former president Donald Trump He won the 2020 presidential election.
Clark County Circuit Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus ruled the state filed the case in the wrong jurisdiction, the state attorney general’s office confirmed to NBC News.
A spokeswoman for the office said the state attorney general would “immediately file an appeal.”
The judge’s decision comes later A grand jury indicted in December as six Republicans is part of the probe on several felony charges, including filing false documents and offering a false instrument to vote in the 2020 presidential election.
