The 6-year-old son of a US representative became a hit among news buffs after videos of his father making funny faces during a House speech went viral.
Tennessee Rep. John Rose brought his youngest son, Guy, with him to the Capitol on Monday, and the boy stole the show by sticking out his tongue as his father railed against the former president. Donald Trump’s recent criminal convictions.
In a video posted by C-SPAN On XA young Tennessee Republican sits behind Guy, not knowing he’s committing a robbery for the camera.
Guy begins his show by smiling at the camera before sticking out his tongue and rolling his eyes. At other times, the jealous child is busy making various shapes with his hands.
He also plays with a green squeeze toy and waves it directly at the camera.
“I’m getting this for telling my son Guy to smile for the camera for his little brother,” Rose wrote alongside the C-SPAN video as she shared it with her followers. On X.

Guy’s new fans celebrated his star-making C-SPAN debut on X .
“He found the camera right away, lol” he wrote one.

Others compared the little boy’s cute antics to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s 7-year-old son Andrew. It made New Yorkers laugh when he upstaged his father’s inauguration speech in January 1994 by waving and blowing kisses to the crowd.
