DENVER – Colorado law officials on Tuesday approved a deal with former President Donald Trump’s onetime lawyer, Jenna Ellis, barring her from practicing law in the state for three years after she pleaded guilty to helping Trump try to overturn the 2020 election.

The latest case was filed by Colorado legal authorities following Ellis’ appeal to Georgia. The suit alleges that Ellis “caused substantial actual harm in various ways. This undermined the confidence of the American public in the presidential election process.”
He also noted that Ellis’s offense was “due to his conduct as an assistant, not as a principal.”
Ellis, a Colorado native who occasionally trains in his home state, is based in Florida and could not immediately be reached for comment. He is the latest the proportion of people charged or disciplined For helping Trump reverse his 2020 loss.
