VANDALIA, Ohio – Former President Donald Trump vowed on Saturday that there would be a “bloodbath” if he is not re-elected in November.

The comments came as Trump discussed the possibility of an escalating trade war with China over auto manufacturing at a rally here. A rally was planned Vote for Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, Trump endorsed in December ahead of Tuesday’s Ohio primary.

“If you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands my attitude. Those big monster car factories you’re building in Mexico right now…you’re not going to hire Americans and sell the cars to us, no. We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every car that comes on the line, and if I’m elected, you won’t be able to sell those cars,” Trump said.

“Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a whole bloodbath — at least that’s what it’s going to be,” he said. “It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That’s the least. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building huge factories.”

He later added: “If this election is not won, I’m not sure you’ll ever have another election in this country.”

In response to the former president’s comments, Trump campaign spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt told NBC News, “Biden’s policies will cause economic bloodshed for the auto industry and auto workers.”

James Singer, the spokesman of President Joe Biden’s election campaign, made a statement after Trump’s words, noting that former Vice President Mike Pence announced that he would not support Trump’s re-election bid.

“That’s what Donald Trump is: losing by more than 7 million votes and then doubling down on threats of political violence instead of appealing to a wider audience,” Singer said. “He wants another January 6, but the American people will hand him another electoral defeat this November as they continue to reject his extremism, his love of violence and his thirst for revenge.”

Before starting the speech, the former president stood next to the lectern and saluted “Justice for all”.J6 choirThe voices of prisoners awaiting trial for their role in the uprising were loudly voiced.

He once again referred to the persons in prison as “hostages” for the crimes committed in the January 6 attack.

“They were treated horribly and very unfairly and you know it and everybody knows it,” Trump said at the start of his speech. “We’re going to work on this from our first day in office, we’re going to save our country, and we’re going to work with people to heal these incredible patriots.”

At the event, Trump also said that some undocumented immigrants are “not human,” though he said he’s “not allowed to say that because the radical left thinks it’s a terrible thing to say.” He also told Catholics not to vote for Biden.

“Every Catholic who voted for this skull is crazy because you’re being persecuted,” Trump said.
