Travis Kelce helps survivors of the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade.

A rep for the NFL star confirmed to TODAY.com that Kelce’s organization, Eighty-Seven Running, made two $50,000 donations to a GoFundMe fundraiser to help Reyes’ family financially.
Kelce founded Eighty-Seven & Running in 2015 to help “underserved youth strive to become productive citizens by mentoring them to discover and develop their abilities while learning critical life skills.” website logs.
After the snap, the Chiefs wrote a tight end he is “heartbroken” over the tragic incident after the team’s Super Bowl parade.
“I am heartbroken by the tragedy that happened today” tweeted. “My heart goes out to all who came to celebrate with us and were affected. KC, you mean the world to me.”
The Reyes family shared an update on their daughters, ages 8 and 10, in a Feb. 16 press release obtained by NBC News. The family said that the two girls have injured their legs and will be in casts for several months. being operated on to treat gunshot wounds.
“On behalf of the Reyes Family, we are incredibly grateful for the love, support and prayers during this difficult time,” the statement read. “Our family, along with other families affected by this senseless act, is still recovering physically and emotionally.”

Kelce’s donation comes after her boyfriend, a pop star Taylor Swift also donated $100,000 to the family of local radio station DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who was killed in the shooting. Lopez-Galva’s son was also shot but survived, his family said.

At least half of the 22 people injured were under the age of 16. Officials said the youngest of the victims was 8 years old.
A criminal case has been opened against two minors Thursday, Feb. 15, and is being held at a juvenile detention center on weapons-related and resisting arrest charges, according to a statement from the 16th Judicial District Court of the Family Court Division of Jackson County, Missouri.
Officials said additional charges are pending as the police investigation continues.
